Brain Fog is a constant battle for people with migraine. Just this morning, I walked down to get something in the kitchen and couldn't remember what it was I needed. This happens daily and I try to just laugh it off. However, brain fog has become a much more serious situation for myself and many other women in our group because it has affected our ability to hold down steady jobs, continue our education, and feel productive in our day. One way to help with brain fog is to eat foods which will boost your brain performance, improve your memory, and sharpen your mind.


8 Foods to Help with Brain Fog:


1 | Avocado

Avocados should be a staple in your everyday meal. They are rich in several vitamins and nutrients, including vitamin C, E and K. Vitamin E is helpful for protecting your brain from damage. Avocados also contain healthy unsaturated fats that keep your brain flexible.


2 | Turmeric

Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin which is important for delaying age-related brain problems. It is also very important in improving memory and focus. You can get the benefit of turmeric by using turmeric powder in smoothies and when stir-frying your food.


3 | Yogurt

Yogurt is rich in probiotics which are good bacteria that keep the gut healthy. A healthy gut is equal to a healthy mind. Yogurt is great for boosting your mood and improving memory and concentration. Next time you feel fuzzy-headed, be sure to have some yogurt.
