Work Accommodations for Employees with Migraines

MigraineAtWork.org is an excellent website for learning about how to approach your employers about requesting accommodations at work for your migraine. The site even includes forms to use for requesting accommodations. The website is for both employers and employees.

"Most accommodations for migraines are inexpensive and effective", according to Migraine at Work. Supporting employees with migraine is not only good for the individual but also for the productivity of the workplace. Some of the accommodations at work are: flexible scheduling; working from home; noise management; fragrance-free workplaces; managing lights with lenses, filters, natural light, removing fluorescent lights; meditation, mindfulness and or time out rooms.
